This policy describes information associated with your use of SpanishForMexico, including optional website analytics and external affiliate links.

Information you provide

If you use our contact form, you provide your name, email address, and message. We use this information to respond to questions, investigate corrections, and address requests. Please do not submit sensitive information or details you do not want us to receive.

Hosting and contact processing

When deployed on Netlify with form handling enabled, Netlify processes contact submissions on our behalf. Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, and browser information to deliver and protect the service. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Optional Google Analytics

When Google Analytics is configured on our production website, we ask for your permission before loading it. If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page visits, referral sources, browser and device information, audio playback, and clicks on Rocket Spanish recommendations. These reports help us understand which guides and features people use. Our custom events identify the page, audio block or course button; they do not include contact-form messages, names, email addresses, or recordings of your voice. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are disabled in our integration.

You can reject analytics and still use the guides and audio. Use “Analytics settings” at the bottom of the site to change your choice. We store this preference in your browser for up to 180 days. Withdrawing consent disables further measurement through our integration and removes Google Analytics cookies accessible to our site; it does not delete data already collected. Spanish audio playback

Some phrases have AI-generated recordings hosted on Sanity’s content delivery network. The audio player requests a recording when you choose to play it; this request shares normal connection information, such as your IP address, with that provider. No microphone access is needed.

Phrases without an uploaded recording use your browser’s text-to-speech service to read the Spanish phrase. They do not record you or request microphone access. Depending on the available voice, your browser or operating-system provider may process that phrase using an online speech service. Voice quality and availability vary by device.

Affiliate tracking

Some pages link to Rocket Spanish through the ClickBank affiliate network. After you follow an affiliate link, ClickBank, Rocket Languages, or their service providers may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a later purchase. Their own privacy policies govern activity on their sites. Affiliate links are identified near the relevant commercial content.

Sharing and retention

We do not sell the information you submit through the contact form. Information may be processed by service providers needed to operate the site or disclosed where required by applicable law. We aim to retain contact messages only as long as needed to address the conversation and legitimate recordkeeping needs, then delete them through the relevant service.

Your choices

You may ask about information you have submitted or request its correction or deletion by using the contact form. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the circumstances and your location.

Other websites have their own privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information. We may update this page as the site changes and will revise the date above when we do.
